Lina Ferreira de Castro is a researcher working at the intersection of international development, climate finance and socio-environmental governance. Her work spans multilateral policy analysis, sustainable finance and community-led initiatives. She has conducted research and consultancy projects with organisations such as SPinheiro Consultancy (Nature Investment Lab; Brazil Restoration & Bioeconomy Finance Coalition), Fondation Braillard Architectes and the Latin American Institute for Multilateralism (ILAM), focusing on MDB reforms and climate-finance architecture across Latin America, the Caribbean and Africa. Lina holds a background in International Relations, human rights and socio-environmental reporting, and is completing a collaborative master’s degree between PUC-Rio and the Geneva Graduate Institute in International and Development Studies, specialising in environment and sustainability.
