Beatriz Nascimento is a global health professional and researcher, with Master’s in Public Health (National School of Public Health, Oswaldo Cruz Foundation) and a PhD candidate on Political Economy at Coimbra University. She currently works as Partnerships Officer with Unitaid, a WHO hosted partnership in Geneva.
She has been working in the global health field for 12 years, mainly with South-South Cooperation, international cooperation in health, access to medicines and global health governance. Before joining Unitaid, she served as an International Consultant at Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), and as International Advisor at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz, Brazil). Also, she served as international relations and cooperation analyst at the South American Institute of Government in Health (ISAGS-UNASUR) and as Communications Officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
