María Laura Garcia Perazzo holds a degree in Social Work (UBA, Honour Diploma) and an International Specialisation in Public Policy and Gender Justice (FLACSO Brasil–CLACSO). She is a Master’s candidate in International Relations at FLACSO Argentina, where she is writing her thesis on the logics of power in international cooperation through postcolonial feminist frameworks, with a focus on the Spotlight Initiative (UN–EU, Argentina 2019–2023). Her research interests centre on South-South and triangular cooperation, humanitarian action, and global gender agendas, examined through feminist and decolonial theoretical frameworks.
She is a Research Assistant at FLACSO Argentina, where she also serves as Postgraduate Assistant for the Advanced Diploma in South-South and Triangular Cooperation and Administrative Coordinator of the Regional Training Programme in International Relations and Feminisms. She is co-author of articles published in indexed international journals and has presented papers at national and international academic conferences.
